I have been writing horoscopes for about 20 years, initially for some newspapers in Sweden, and more recently, on my Swedish web page. While I am not a professional astrologer, my journey with astrology began when I was about 10 years old. Back then, with no internet, I would visit the library to borrow books in English and draw horoscopes by hand. I believe astrology offers valuable insights, but becoming a professional astrologer requires a deep commitment, which is not my goal.
I find that astrology complements Tarot cards by providing a foundational understanding of the elements, as each of the four elements corresponds to three zodiac signs.
When creating horoscopes, I use "The American Ephemeris" as a reference. I start with the basics from the Sun and Mars, then consider Mercury, Jupiter, and Saturn for work-related aspects, and Venus, Jupiter, and Neptune for love. I believe that reading multiple planets for different aspects offers a deeper understanding. My horoscopes are based on each zodiac sign's qualities, and I've received positive feedback over the years.
However, my horoscopes are general and not personalized. For a personalized reading, you would need an astrologer to analyze your planetary positions, as you are much more than just your zodiac sign. For example, Mercury influences communication, Venus governs emotions and relationships, Mars reflects temperament, Jupiter represents goals, Saturn reveals shadows and self-expression, Uranus indicates social tendencies, and Neptune uncovers spiritual longings.
